InsingerGilissen was formed in 2017 through the merger of Insinger de Beaufort and Theodoor Gilissen: two private banks of Amsterdam origin with historical roots dating back to 1779 and 1881. The name InsingerGilissen refers to the respective founders of these banks.

Takeover by Kredietbank Luxembourg (KBL epb)
Theodoor Gilissen joins Kredietbank Luxembourg European Private Bankers, adding international expertise.

2005
Merger with Effectenbank Stroeve
Theodoor Gilissen merges with Effectenbank Stroeve, which leads to a broader range of services and a stronger market position.

Collaboration with BNP Paribas
Insinger de Beaufort merges with Nachenius Tjeenk and starts working with BNP Paribas, increasing its international strength.

Quintet Private Bank
KBL epb changes its name to Quintet Private Bank. InsingerGilissen becomes a branch of Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A., while retaining its local identity and expertise.
